History of company:

  • 1992 Karel Palla jun. starts activity as private company for hotel undertaking

  • 2001 start of production of samples made of engineered stone for company Technistone

  • 2004 transformation of the company onto Mosaictech Ltd. with two owners (Karel Palla jun. and Karel Palla sen.), besides the production of samples, the production of small formats made of engineered stone and marble is growing (mosaics, borders etc.)

  • 2006 start of production of kitchen tops and other stone products made of natural and engineered stone, start of production of large-format cladding panels for construction of bathroom  cores with technology Technistone light®

  • 2012 investment into production, e.g. providing the production with CNC machining centre

  • 2014 establishment of sister company MosaicSolid (proklik na weby MosaicSolidu) for distribution and processing of solid surface, enlargement of fabricated materials with large-format ceramics.


Mosaictech is a family company of Palla family, it has approximately 20 employees at the moment and it undertakes mainly in the stone fabrication business. It ranked soon among former Czech stone fabricators specializing above all in complicated assortment of kitchen tops.

Mosaictech produces mainly:

  • Kitchen working tops, vanity units, staircases, window and door sills, wall claddings and tiles, fireplace claddings, shower trays and other stone interior components

  • Small formats (borders, mosaics, decorative patterns, skirtings)

  • Samples and sample books for stone manufacturers

  • Large-format cladding panels for construction of bathroom cores

Mosaictech fabricates:

  • Natural stone (above all granite)

  • Engineered stone Technistone and Silestone

  • Solid surface Hanex and Krion (through its sister company MosaicSolid)
  • Large-format ceramics DEKTON

In both the companies MosaicTech and MosaicSolid, there are working professionals having long-year experience with production, fabrication and sale of above all engineered stone and solid surface materials. The company director Karel Palla sen. was a General Director of the company Technistone, also Mr. Josef Nermuť worked there as Export Manager, also Mr. Karel Zemek is an experienced salesman in the solid surface business.
